Sherry Goeben's Art

My name is Sherry and I hope you enjoy the artwork on this site.  I have been drawing and painting most of my life.  I live in beautiful, rural Central Pennsylvania with my husband, Ken.

 

My favorite mediums are watercolors and professional-quality colored pencil.  The colored pencils give the ability to achieve highly detailed work in my pieces.  I am basically a self-taught artist and I am always looking for new techniques and mediums to try.  I have taken drawing and painting courses but have never finished my degree.

 

I am a member of quite a few artist groups -- including many in the Facebook community.  I love to network with professional artists around the world and enjoy submitting my artwork to various challenges throughout the year.  Several of those pieces have been chosen as winners for some of these events. 

 

My favorite subjects are usually furry, feathered or has paws but I have also done human subjects. Art is my passion and I love to draw and paint -- always game for a new challenge or subject!

 

I am a member of the CPSA (Colored Pencil Society of America), as well as an active member of the Lewisburg Artist Guild.  I actively participate in quite a number of festivals around my home state of Pennsylvania.  You can also find my works on Facebook, eBay, and Fine Arts America.
